Tell us about yourself!
I am 56, post menopause female. I had good habits (daily workouts, sleeping 8 hours, and drinking water) in place, was doing IF 16/8 for 7 months but frustrated by a constant creep of my weight. In 2016 I weighed 109, and went through surgery, chemo, and radiation for breast cancer. I immediately went into menopause from the chemo and my body has never been the same. My weight never fluctuated or was a problem. I was 98 lbs when I was 22, 104 lbs at 35 yrs after 2 kids...and it was around 45 that I put on a pound a year that brought me to 109 at 50. I've always worked out, so I guess I benefitted from that for years.

Did you have any hesitations before joining the Challenge?
I was worried it wouldn't work.
What was your Summer Intermittent Fasting Challenge goal?
To feel better and lose a few pounds. Both were accomplished. I felt GREAT within 4 days and at the end of the program, I was down 6 pounds - from 121.5 to 115.5 - and at 5 ft 2 in...you can see it in my face. And I don't think I am finished!
What wellness goals did you achieve during the Spring Intermittent Fasting Challenge?
Within 4 days the bloated feeling went away, I had more energy, and I felt really good.
What were some of your favorite meals during the Challenge?
Any of the no-grain oatmeals. I often ate them for lunch bc I loved them so much. I also shared them with friends bc they were the perfect way to break a fast.
Did you have a nutrition nerd moment?
I appreciated learning the reasons why my body was responding positively and the education I got reading the bundle.
Is there anything else you would like to share?
I recommend the program to anyone complaining about their gut or weight. Since my friends and I are all over 50 and through menopause...our metabolisms are slower and just cutting meals/calories are NOT enough. Most of all, this was healthy.
