Next week is Cinco de Mayo which is typically a time when many people like to go out to bars and restaurants to celebrate the occasion! But with current events and the quarantine, you're probably still at home. But it doesn't mean that you can't still whip up a healthy, tequila based cocktail to enjoy for the holiday with your family members or roommates!
Today, I'm sharing two low-sugar tequila based recipes that require minimal ingredients and that you can make AT HOME! Enjoy!

Refreshing Citrus Tequila
Serves 1
Ingredients:
2 oz. tequila (I use Nosotros Tequila. You can check them out HERE!)
2 oz. water squeeze of orange, grapefruit, lime or lemon
1. Pour into a glass of ice and give it a swirl before drinking.
Aperol + Tequila Lime
Serves 1
Ingredients:
1.5 oz. tequila
.5 oz. aperol
.25 oz. lime juice
Splash of sparkling water or spindrift
1. Add the first 3 ingredients in a shaker filled with ice. Shake.
2. Pour the mixture into a glass filled with ice and top with sparkling water or spindrift to your liking.
