I've been sipping on my same OG Keto Coffee for YEARS now. I love having my daily zero-sugar coffee that supports my wellness goals and helps turn on fat burning mechanisms. But now that it's fall, I feel like switching it up a bit and making some changes to my morning ritual. I've recently been switching gears to some Keto Coffee (and tea) recipes that are a little more suited for the fall sweater weather vibes. Today, I'm sharing three of those recipes so that you can achieve your wellness dreams this fall while STILL enjoying your daily cuppa.
Pssst: the type of coffee REALLY matters here. I only use organic, mold-free Purity Coffee as the base of my coffee. You can get 10% off your orders (and even subscription!) of Purity Coffee by using code "autumn" at checkout!🤓
Zero Sugar Pumpkin Spice Latte
Just like 99% of college students, I LOVED ordering PSL’s at school. It’s the quintessential fall drink that makes you feel that it’s time to throw on a sweater and cozy up. BUT holy moly. When I found out the amount of sugar in a Starbucks PSL, it finally clicked why these drinks are so addicting. A grande (16 oz.) PSL contains 50g of sugar. *insert jaw-drop*
There have been numbers thrown around for how much added sugar should be “allowed” in the diet, ranging from 10% of total calories with the 2015-2020 Dietary Guidelines for Americans to the WHO’s less than 5% of total calories recommendation.(1) The truth is, there’s no hard evidence on the amount of sugar that is okay for someone to have and still have great health and achieve a weight loss goal. One thing IS for certain - the more sugar, the worse. The less sugar, the better. Especially if weight loss, stable energy levels and improved insulin levels is your goal.
But I still want my fall PSL vibes, just sans sugar! That’s how I created this epic alternative instead.
*Pssst: due to the pumpkin puree, this recipe WILL break your fast! So it's important to have this one during your eating window with Intermittent Fasting.

8-12 oz. brewed mold-free coffee (get 10% off your orders by using code "autumn" at checkout)
1 Tbsp. pumpkin puree
up to 1 Tbsp. grass-fed butter (or cacao butter for a plant-based alternative)
up to 1 Tbsp. unrefined coconut oil
1/2 tsp. pumpkin pie spice
Optional 1/4 tsp. granulated monk fruit sweetener OR 4-8 drops liquid monk fruit
1. Carefully combine all ingredients in a blender. Start off by blending on low so that the coffee doesn’t splash out. Then slowly bring it up to high to get the amazing, keto coffee froth of your dreams!
Fat Burning Chai Latte
If you’re not a fan of coffee and you’re more of a tea person, a chai latte is like the PSL equivalent when it comes to fall vibes. But just like with the PSL, chai lattes from common coffee shops such as Starbucks are LOADED with fat storing sugars. A grande chai latte from Starbucks comes in at around 42 grams of sugar! If weight loss is one of your goals this fall, then reducing your sugar intake in order to help reduce your insulin levels is extremely important. Insulin is our storing hormone and shuts off the fat burning process called “lipolysis”. It also works in a “dose-dependent” manner, meaning if you eat more sugar then you’ll release more insulin. If you eat less sugar, you’ll release less insulin, making it easier for your body to shift back into fat burning mode.

1/8 tsp. ground ginger
1/8 tsp. ground cardamom
1/8 tsp. ground nutmeg
1/8 tsp. ground cloves
pinch of salt

Cinnamon Vanilla Latte
This is a brand new creation and I’m quickly becoming obsessed with it!! I like to find ways to incorporate cinnamon because it’s been found to have some potential blood glucose stabilizing and reducing effects (always a plus!) and this recipe does the TRICK.(2) I swapped out the coconut oil for a bit more of a vanilla flavor and added in heavy whipping cream for more of a “latte” feel. This recipe will contain slightly above 1g of net carbohydrates, so if you find that you’re sensitive to carbohydrates or new to Intermittent Fasting, this coffee will be best during your eating window. Our general rule of thumb with the Complete Intermittent Fasting Bundle is to stick to less than 1g net carbohydrates during the fast, making this recipe a bit borderline. You can slightly decrease the heavy whipping cream to get this recipe under 1g net carbohydrates.
