In honor of the Summer Intermittent Fasting Challenge, today I'm sharing one of my favorite protein, fat and fiber rich smoothies lately ~ The Almond Butter Recovery Smoothie.


Almond butter and cacao are both surprisingly rich in fiber and used as key ingredients in this smoothie to help us get over 10 grams of fiber. We also get a full 20 grams of complete protein with my zero sugar, pasture-raised protein powder to help support muscle recovery and reduced sugar cravings.

Almond Butter Recovery Smoothie

Serves 1

Ingredients:

  • 10 oz. unsweetened almond milk (I recommend an unsweetened vanilla almond milk for this recipe)

  • 2 scoops Autumn's Vanilla Protein Powder

  • 1/2 frozen banana

  • 1/4 cup frozen cauliflower rice

  • 2 Tbsp. almond butter

  • 1 Tbsp. cacao nibs

  1. Add all ingredients to a blender and blend until smooth.
