Constipation is one of the most common GI health concerns in the U.S. A startling 16% of adult Americans and 33% of Americans over the age of 60 experience constipation.(1) That's a LOT of people who are having trouble with one of the most basic human elimination pathways.
Today, I'm sharing the story of Becca who is 24 years old and dived head first into the Complete Intermittent Fasting Bundle protocols in order to heal her gut. Here's a sneak peek of what she has to say:
I think my biggest wellness wins were gradual. After about a month, I felt like my digestive system was healing. I could eat without feeling bloated and I went to the bathroom regularly!! ...It's truly been a miracle for me.
This story is particularly close to me because Becca is now my intern as well! Hearing her progress over the last few months has been an inspiration to me and everyone who experiences GI issues and the connected concerns such as anxiety and bloating.

Tell us about yourself!
I'm 24 years old, from Southern California, currently livin' in Hawaii with my best friend/hubs! I'm about to graduate with my Bachelor's in Exercise Science and will continue to get my Master's in nutrition just like Autumn! ;)
What was your main wellness goal?
Honestly, when I found (Autumn) I was struggling so much with my digestion and my mental health. I really just wanted to eat without feeling bloated, sleep regularly, and enjoy my life normally!
Which Program are you following?
So, I've been following all of (the) programs for about 6 months now. I started out with the detox, then the 21 Day IF Challenge, and I am working on the Level Up Guide. Sometimes I need to get myself back on track and do the detox again.
Did you have any hesitations before you got started?
I was a little skeptical at first. I thought maybe Intermittent Fasting was just another "fad diet" that you hear of. And I didn't think I could go a whole 16 hours without eating!!
Have you tried anything else in the past?
I have gone to so many doctors to fix my IBS, anxiety, insomnia, bloating, constipation and more! But I never felt like anything they recommended got to the root of the problem, and it was so frustrating. I felt stuck because I ate the things they recommended, and I worked out regularly- but nothing solved my problems long term.
What has been your biggest "wellness win"?
I think my biggest wellness wins were gradual. After about a month, I felt like my digestive system was healing. I could eat without feeling bloated and I went to the bathroom regularly!! After about 3 months I noticed I could sleep and I had so much more energy. Now, after 6+ months I've noticed my anxiety has decreased soooo much, and my periods are more regular and with barely any cramping! It's truly been a miracle for me.
