Can You Workout With Intermittent Fasting?

Updated: May 27, 2020

As I write this, I'm sipping on my Keto Coffee after I just completed a long walk and a light toning workout - all during a fasted state. Before I started implementing the 21 Day Intermittent Fasting Guide strategies, I used to HAVE to eat a little something before I worked out. I'm not even sure if it's because I was hungry... rather I just thought I needed to. I probably had this feeling because I wasn't very metabolically flexible (as a result of standard snacking throughout the day and eating pretty much from when I would wake up to when I would go to bed). My body as a result wasn't able to tap into the abundant energy of fat burning mechanisms. This would cause me to get "hangry" if I didn't have something to eat every few hours and is likely what also led me to "need" food before my workout. Anyone else feel like this?

If you've been following my blog posts for a while, then you're probably nodding your head in agreement and understand everything that I just mentioned above.
