My Fat Burning Iced Chai Latte Recipe [Use With Intermittent Fasting!]
Chai latte's are how I started to dip my toe into the world of caffeinated drinks. Traditionally, chai latte's are very sugar-y drinks. In fact, a grande chai latte from Starbucks comes in at around 42 GRAMS OF SUGAR 🤯 Considering sugar filled drinks are one of the leading causes of obesity in America (1), swapping your usual chai latte for a zero sugar option can help you achieve your weight loss goal.
Today, I'm sharing my fat-burning, zero sugar ICED Chai Latte Recipe! Sip up and enjoy!
Iced Chai Latte
8 oz. brewed chai or black tea, cooled
1 Tbsp. heavy whipping cream
1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
1/8 tsp. ground nutmeg
1/8 tsp. ground cloves
1/8 tsp. ground cardamom
1/8 tsp. ground ginger
Combine all ingredients in a cocktail shaker. Shake for 5-10 seconds, or until cocktail shaker feels cool to the touch.
Fill another glass with ice and serve your iced chai tea latte.
Note: If you aren't sensitive to stevia/monk fruit, you can experiment with adding a dash into your Iced Chai Latte. But keep in mind, some people DO have an insulin response to calorie-free sweeteners and this might not be in line with your wellness goals.
